Spent this snowy morning with these ladies. Or should I say women?

The older kids loved it too. Although, Sammy said; "Mom, I don't understand this movie."

I was lost in Concord while Mike held down the fort.

Ahhhhhhh.

i HAAATE.......

.........THIS!!!!!

I do apologize to any and all of you who have blessed the Rohrer's with any variation of this, but the truth remains. I HATE IT!!!!!!!!! I appreciate the sentiment and your generosity.

In this household, no good EVER comes of it. As I write this very sentence Thea has come in to report that Sammy has put IT in her hair.

Did I mention I HATE IT?????!!!!!???????

All over the floor.

Colors never stay separated which is fine except when you have those nifty sets like burgers or pasta that become completely pointless when you are forced to make purpley-yellow pickles or greenish-orange spaghetti. Hmmmmmm.

The kids can hardly work the contraptions.

They can't even open the cannisters. Oh wait... here come Thea again.......

And you can save your "but they can use their imagination" arguments.....

I STILL and ALWAYS WILL HATE IT!!!!!!!!

28.5.....

......inches and more to come.

We were without cable, internet and phone for 2 days. I felt like I was buried alive...except I could see because we had electricity.
Anyways, it has been "fun".
Will post more when I upload the pics from my camera. Mike took these pics with our point and shoot.
Lata potata!!

Pinch Me......

I'm living a dream.
Thanks to all of you who gave color advice.

Thank you to all who have been so excited for me and so surprisingly encouraging. I likely would have backed out all together if not for you...the little people. ;)

I went with hot pink.

A special thank you to J-Lo for acting as my personal stylist/shopper.

Thank you to Shay Shay my future Personal Assistant for accompanying me to my auditon and enduring the boredom of most of it. And thank you especially for being my rational eyes and ears the next day at the Q&A session. You are soooo hired.

And who can forget my first "entourage" member? We will call him Camp Director. Thank you for all your enthusiasm and faith in me. For your planning and brainstorming and for birthing the most incredible stage name EVER!!!!! Geyonce is forever in your debt.

Thanks to my husband who is being such a huge supporter of this very dream-come-true adventure that I am about to begin. Oh I am so thrilled I am nearly jumping out of my skin.

Oh. Does this sound like an Oscar acceptance speech? Oh, my bad. That's because I used to sit at the edge of my parents' bed and accept award after award while peering into the huge mirror that hung on the wall. I would accept awards, conduct interviews with celebs and BE the celeb interviewee. I can't remember a time in my childhood that I wasn't convinced that acting was my calling.

Yes, people I have always dreamed of acting. I watch television, whether it be commercials, sit-coms or movies and I imagine how I would perform the various scenarios portrayed on the screen.

Unfortunatley, life has gotten in the way of that dream and I have long since chalked it up as childhood musings.

Until I heard a certain radio commercial speaking DIRECTLY to me. You may have heard it? A commercial advertising a christian talent development agency holding auditions on January 16th in Annapolis?

Yes, that was for me. And I took the invitation. Auditioning alone was a huge life accomplishment for me. I've learned along the way in my life that I was not comfortable trying for anything I might fail at, so I just stopped trying.

Until January 16th.......................

I got a call-back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is hard to explain what I will be experiencing from now through July 11th, so take a peek here then click on Summer 2010 and you will better understand.

As my brother kept saying "WHO KNOWS what will happen?" He was quite, refreshingly, encouraging, by the way.

Well, God knows and I am OK with knowing that and I am DEFINITELY OK with all the fun I will have in the process.

And no worries, I won't forget the "little people". Hahahahaha.

I am seriously a giddy school girl who cracks myself up.

Prayer of St. Francis Assisi

Lord, make me a channel of thy peace;
that where there is hatred, I may bring love;
that where there is wrong, I may bring the spirit of forgiveness;
that where there is discord, I may bring harmony;
that where there is error, I may bring truth;
that where there is doubt, I may bring faith;
that where there is despair, I may bring hope;
that where there are shadows, I may bring light;
that where there is sadness, I may bring joy.
Lord, grant that I may seek rather to comfort than to be comforted;
to understand, than to be understood;
to love, than to be loved.
For it is by self-forgetting that one finds.
It is by forgiving that one is forgiven.
It is by dying that one awakens to eternal life.
Amen.

Serious Question

For real, I need each of you to answer this question.

If I (Gina) were to have to pick the BEST color top to wear what would it be? What color(s) do you think I look best in? If you answer I will send you an email telling you why I want to know.

Ohhhhhhh. It's so exciting!!
And yet silly. Well, I hope it isn't silly and that it is simply the most wonderful adventure!!

Target in Bulk

Thought this was interesting. I love BJ's and I love target. It will be fun to see how they compete. Bought some cereal in bulk yesterday at a steal.
