What I've been up to

At the crack of diggity dawn (or before), on Tuesday, I will be on my way here in hopes of getting discovered. If you wonder what my past 6 month journey has been all about, go here and pray for me as I am very nervous and excited and hopeful and doubtful and trusting the Lord that He has had this entire journey planned from before the world was made.

Man, no matter what comes of this, I feel so unbelievably blessed to be loved by the God of the Universe.

....book is consuming me right now. I am having trouble putting it down for even when I do, my mind is still bulging with thoughts of the people within the pages. They are real, not fictional, people which is why I am so paralyzingly fascinated by them.

I told the kids to find a place to sit and wait for cake. Sadie plopped herself on this grown up chair in all her interesting princess attire (notice the bracelet around the leg) and waited ever so patiently.

So here are the photos I would have chosen.

Photo Shoot

Here are the pictures that AMTC has chosen to use for my head shots and comp cards (business cards for actors/models). I'm not neccesarily thrilled, but I trust that they know what the VIPs are looking for. These are what they consider the "best" of 139 shots.
They gave us a letter with the photo disc that says we can contact the style director to ask why these were chosen and why others were not. I will post tomorrow with the pictures I would have chosen. Considering I have no experience whatsoever, I am sure the ones they chose are best, but I would love to know the "why" so I can keep it in mind in the future...which, by the way, is so bright, I have to wear shades. HAH!!!!!
Also, the photos themselves aren't so bad, it's more the middle-aged outfits they chose for me. Oh well, I guess it is unlikely I would get cast as a classmate of the Jonas Brothers anyway so I might as well embrace the role of their (grand)mother.
