We took a trip to NY at the beginning of the month. It was our first adventure since our camping trip during which Mike declared a traveling freeze, until Sadie figured out how to be a cooperative traveler.
We decided to attempt this trip in spite of her failure to comply because there was a very important family celebration to attend. We were celebrating a significant life accomplishment with my brother. We are so very proud of him!
Of course, the festivities were held at Vennera's on the Deck. My favorite party spot. Not to mention my childhood home. We got to spend the weekend with our family and Sadie got to meet the clan for the first time. She was such an angel. Hmmmmm could it be because she was held the whole time? We got to meet my cousins "baby" for the first time as well. Emily is going to turn 1 in just a couple weeks and we just got to meet her. Makes me sad, but is she ever a doll?
We had a great time any time we were outside of the car.
Our next attempt will be Labor Day weekend to NC. Please, please, please pray for our sanity.
